The Tools & Tech That Power Our Studio
Entry 002
2025-04-15
We’ve tested a lot of tools over the years—some stuck, some didn’t. Our current setup isn’t fancy, but it works for how we like to build and stay moving.
Whether we’re launching a site, editing content, shipping orders, or fixing up a bike in the back, these are the tools that help us keep things rolling.
Here’s what we’re using right now, from the screen to the studio.
Project Management
Notion
This is home base. Every project lives in Notion—tasks, timelines, feedback, content calendars.
Google Drive
Where all client files, decks, and big design stuff gets stored. Easy to share, easy to stay organized.
Creative Tools
Figma
Our design workhorse. Fast, flexible, and great for collaborating. We use it for wireframes, mockups, and full site designs.
Adobe Creative Cloud
Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom—mainly for brand identity work and high-res content.
CapCut Pro & Premiere Pro
CapCut is our go-to for quick content edits (especially social). For bigger stuff, we switch over to Premiere.
Sony A7SIII & A7RIII + Rode Mics
Our in-studio and on-the-go content setup. Easy to carry, solid quality, and perfect for client shoots or internal projects.
Web + eComm Stack
Shopify
Our main platform for eCommerce clients. It’s reliable, flexible, and built to scale if you know how to use it right.
Squarespace
Solid for smaller service businesses or local brands. Fast to build and easy for clients to manage on their own.
Webflow
Similar to Squarespace, but more custom.
HTML, CSS, JavaScript
The foundation of the web. We use these to build custom features in our websites.
Godaddy & Squarespace Domains
Clean domain setup that
Client Comms + Deliverables
Loom
We record walkthroughs instead of writing long emails. Easier for clients, faster for us.
Adobe Indesign or Google Slides
Where we build strategy decks, brand presentations, and reports. Quick to edit and easy to present.
Google Sheets
For monthly reports & data.
The Workbench
We bought two workbenches from Harbor Freight and stuck them together. Here’s what’s in them:
Bike tools: Allen keys, tire levers, torque wrenches
Car tools: Socket sets, oil change gear, brake cleaner
Label printer + tape dispensers for packing orders
Cutting mats, clamps, rulers, sharpies
Bins full of spare parts, bolts, and other random stuff
Microfibers + cleaner to keep gear and bikes photo-ready
Fallout 4 bobblehead
UFO snowglobe from Area 51
Extras We Use Personally
Garmin Instinct & Fenix 7 – Tracks training schedules.
Oura Ring - Tracks sleep & recovery
Athletic Greens - Daily multivitamin.
LMNT - Daily electrolytes.
We’re always figuring things out, but this setup works well for where we’re at right now. If a tool helps us stay focused and make better stuff, we stick with it.
If you’re building something of your own and want to compare notes or swap ideas, we’re always down to chat.
